My name is Megan and I’ve been taking care of my own animals for almost my entire life . I currently have 2 cats at my apartment that are pretty much the loves of my life, but if you count the family pets I share with my parents and siblings then you’ve got 5 cats, 2 dogs, a cockatiel, and 2 geckos! So it’s safe to say that I’m accustomed to caring for lots of critters. I know it can be stressful trying to find the right person to care for your animals, and I know every pet owner wants a sitter that will treat their pet with the same love they give their own! That’s where I come in. In addition to being a petsitter, I’m also a full-time student working towards my BA in Biological Anthropology, so the only real foreseeable conflict with sitting would be my class schedule, however during the spring 2020 semester my classes run from approximately 9AM to 4PM on Monday-Thursday and apart from that I’m more than willing to be flexible with clients to make sure their pet is getting just the right amount of care and attention. So now that the introduction is out of the way let’s talk about some of my pet services: Drop-In Visits: I’m open to doing drop-in visits 7 days a week depending on my schedule on a given week, and I’ll make sure to have my weekly visit schedule arranged the Sunday before each week. I’m flexible with visit times as well, with the exception of the mornings or afternoons where I have class. I’m comfortable with early mornings, late evening visits, multiple visits for pets that require extra attention, and all special needs animals. I also know how my dogs react during storms or fireworks, so I’m also willing to accommodate for dogs with severe anxiety with longer or extra visits during those times. Walking: I’m more than happy to accept requests for walks around the neighborhood from all my clients, in fact it’s one of my favorite parts of pet sitting! Letting me know in advance works best, but if my day isn’t already booked, I can definitely try to accept any last minute requests.
