Pet care experience
Hello! My love for animals began early on in my childhood when I began horseback riding and continued to increase when my parents got our family dog, Cocoa, when I was 9 years old. I cherish the 14 years I had with Cocoa and fondly look back on the memories with him; from taking longs walks, playing fetch in the yard, cuddling on the couch, or giving him belly rubs, Cocoa always brought a smile to my face. I know how special our pets our to us and I love working with pet owners through Rover to provide excellent care for their dogs/cats/etc. when owners are away! My goal is to make sure your pet feels loved and taken care of while looking after them. I am more than happy to send pictures and videos to pet owners while you are away and will always follow any directions given to me. Megan was great with coming by multiple times a day to walk and visit with my dogs. She communicated with me multiple times while I was away to keep me updated with her schedule. Would certainly work with her again.
As a dog mom myself, I trust only the best to take care of my pups! Meg is really wonderful at caring for my two dogs when I need someone to watch them, always playing with them and sending me lots of updates (pics included!!) It is most important for me to know special quirks about your pet, how often they eat, how often they need to be walked or go out, where they sleep, activities they enjoy, things like that! I usually ask that owners type/write out everything they think I should know about their pet!
A typical day
I will always respect anything the owner wishes. Most of all, my priority is that your pet is looked after and cared for the same way their owner cares for them! My absolute favorite thing to do is run around outside with the dogs and play fetch! Additionally, there are several walking greenways around the area that I could certainly take your dog on a walk if desired! If the dog owner would like me to, I could also take their pet for a short car ride to get a special “pup cup” from Starbucks!

Availability
I am a full-time student during the Fall and Spring; however, many of my courses are online so I would be very attentive and available for your pet! During the summer, my main focus would be on your pet. While I will have the occasional errand to run and a couple of in-person summer classes, I will do my very best to work my schedule around to fit your pets needs!
