Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Megan, I am 32 years old, and before moving to Alabama I had been working been working at an animal hospital in NC for 8 years. During these 8 years I have amassed a wealth of knowledge regarding pet medications, illnesses, and behavior. Because of my experience I feel comfortable handling even the scariest pet situations. I have also been pet sitting for the past 7 years, and have dealt with just about every situation possible! (I have additional references available upon request.) Additionally, I have fostered newborn and special needs kittens through a great rescue group in Raleigh, and have personally bottle fed/raised over 50 kittens. I have a special place in my heart for anything brachycephalic (smushy faced), but I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I know how stressful it is leaving your pets, so I always provide them with LOTS of cuddles and love, and you with detailed updates. Animals are truly my life's passion and I promise to take care of your baby as if he/she were my own!

Wow, my wife and I could not have dreamed of a better person to take care of our dog, Snuffy! Megan was attentive and thoughtful. Snuffy is a very energetic and particular dog, yet Megan made sure he was happy, healthy, and tired out. She was great about sending us updates and pictures. She even bought our little guy treats! We were gone for 9 days and Snuffy was having so much fun that we thought he’d rather go home with Megan. We will definitely be booking her again :)
Megan was and is amazing! She gave constant updates of how my pup was doing and left my house so neat and beautiful! I felt completely at ease when Megan was with Max. I knew she was loving him and caring him as I would. I loved the ease communication we had! She’s the BEST!
Meghan did a wonderful job taking care of our olde English bullldogge while we were gone for the weekend. Yum yum will bark and sound ferocious when people enter but Megan did great and was unfazed! She did everything we asked. Our dog was very comforted by her awesome abilities and caring approach!
My rescue, Koda, has become very attached to me and I needed someone that I felt he would trust to keep him while I was at work. Megan allowed a 1 hr test visit to allow him to become acclimated and meet her cats. She was great with him and allowed him to feel right at home.

Smushy faces are my specialty; Bulldogs (of any variety), Pugs, Persians, Himalayans, Shih Stzus, Mastiffs, Pekingese, but really any and all types are welcome! High maintenance routines are no issue.
A typical day
I will shamelessly talk to your pet like a baby and roll around on the floor with them. If you're looking for someone to give your pet all the tlc and snuggling he or she would have when you're home, there's no better sitter than me!
