The quality care your pet deserves

Pet care experience

After finishing school I trained as a Dog Groomer and gained my level 2 qualification in Animal Care. I then spent 2 years at Scarsdale Vets where I developed strong skills when it came to handling different types of dogs and also grooming cats. Each breed is different, with their own peculiar traits, and knowing how to handle them, particularly how they interact with people is crucial. I believe that my skills and experience enabled me to be confident and understanding when working with animals who have came from different backgrounds and environments. I have experience in handling multiple dogs at once and have been lucky enough to be able to work alongside Scarsdale’s dog trainers in puppy classes where I gained extensive knowledge of dog training and behaviour techniques.

Megan has looked after Ludo my cat several times now and have several holidays booked throughout the year. Can honestly say she is fantastic, he is so relaxed in his own surroundings, is well looked after by Megan and she even sends daily photos. Would definitely recommend her.

Megan looks after my cat when i'm away on holiday or unable to be there to feed him or get attention. She is very reliable, visiting at specfic times i have asked for and making sure my cat is well fed and looked after. She sends me videos and pictures to show me how my cat is doing, which brings me joy knowing that someone who cares about my cat is looking after him. I highly reccomend Megan as a reliable and trust worthy person to look after your pets!

Dog Boarding: I have a fenced garden and plenty of space for your pet to run around and play. I also live close by to a massive field where your pet can be let of lead if adequate training and recall is to a high standard with your pet. I will not let your dog off lead unless instructed otherwise. However, if your dog is reactive and or showing signs of aggression then I will not permit your dog off lead due to the safety of your dog and others dogs. If crate trained then I do have a crate that I can put your dog in. If for any reason you’d prefer that a crate isn’t used then this can be accommodated also as I let pets on my furniture. I have plenty of blankets, toys and treats accessible at all times for your pet but feel free to bring along your own as the scent of your house helps to reduce the stress and aniexty that your pet may have of an unfamiliar place. I will need to know their feeding schedules and what type of food they have. You will need to provide food for the duration of their stay. I will also get you to fill out a form advising any allergies or illnesses so I can ensure that I am providing the best care and support for your pup. I understand that some dogs don’t enjoy the company of other dogs and so my pet will spend time at my parents house whilst your fury friends are in my care. Dog Walking: Book your dog for a walk where I can take them to your local park or travel to a big field near by where I will play fetch and allow your dog to have a run around, possibly off lead if your pooch is well behaved. I will not let your dog off lead unless instructed otherwise. However, if your dog is reactive and or showing signs of aggression then I will not permit your dog off lead due to the safety of your dog and others dogs. If for any reason you do not wish to have your dog off lead but want them to have a bit more freedom, then I do own a 10 metre training lead which can give your dog more space to run and play if needs be. Training commands can also be practiced on daily walks to help aid your pup in their development. I am happy to help where needs be.

Information Megan C. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your pet has any disabilities or behaviours I can account for. I will try my best to support and assist any dogs who need that extra little bit of care before they are staying with me. Whether that be heart conditions, arthritis, deafness/blindness and or other medical problems, I can be sure to accommodate for what your dog needs are.

A typical day

I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. I have lots of toys and will practice any training commands that you and your pet are learning or whether you would like repetition, I can support. I have a field around the corner from my house where I can take your dog for a run and help exercise the excess energy that they may have during the day. I tend to walk the dogs twice daily (depending on weather conditions) and my walks vary from 30minute to 1hr walks. My walks vary as it will depend on the breed and age of the dog.
