Pet care experience
I am a lifelong dog owner, and currently have a very high-energy red heeler. I have lots of experience in dog care and training including obedience, rally obedience, and agility. I have years of experience as a foster for rescue dogs with unique and challenging behavioural issues. I lead a very active life and my dog is my adventure sidekick through it all!

Once again Megan was amazing! Roxy and Winnie had the best visit! We got so many update pictures and knew our girls were getting so much love!
We are very happy that we chose Megan to look after our little fur baby for his first time away from us. With every update we received, we could see how much fun he was having and it was nice to see he had made some pals along the way! We are greatful he was in excellent hands and we will definitely consider Megan again in the future.

I have a fenced yard, and live close to a large park, dog park, and dog-friendly beach. I also regularly drive away from town for hikes. Outdoor exercise & enrichment is a priority for us and we'd love to share that with your pets.

If you are seeking care in my home, please let me know your dogs level of comfort with other dogs and with kids, and level of separation anxiety and/or crate training.
A typical day
Typically we wake up and go for a walk/bathroom break. At lunch time we'll go for a longer walk to the park or beach nearby. In the evenings we will go for a hike or longer walk, to local trails or the beach. I am happy to adjust our activity levels to the energy and interests of your pets.

I work full-time remotely so my schedule is quite flexible in terms of being able to provide several walks and bathroom breaks during the day.
