Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Megan and taking care of animals is my passion. Ever since I was little I grew up with dogs in the house. Now as an adult, I work at a doggy daycare for a living! I’ve been at the daycare for 3 years now and it’s been amazing! Working there has given me tons of experience with all types of breeds and sizes. I’ve had lots of hands on experience learning dog body language, breed temperaments and quirks, and being comfortable caring for all sizes of dogs, from teeny tiny to GIANTS. I also have a lot of experience taking our daycare dogs on walks and monitoring large play groups! Along with monitoring and caring for large groups of dogs at my daycare I also work as a dog bather where I do bathing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing. Right now I am working on becoming certified in dog CPR/first aid which I think is a very important skill when working with animals. Currently I’m working part time at the daycare so I have a lot of free time to take new clients on rover! My schedule changes week to week so my calendar is always updated with accurate availability. As of now I am free Monday-Friday and also Saturday. Please reach out if you ever need help with your furry friends😊

Megan was fantastic with our 5 month old puppy who had recently had her spay surgery. Being a puppy and having a cone on meant she needed lots of supervision. Megan sent pictures and updates throughout the day. We will most definitely hire Megan again!

A typical day
Going on long walks and hikes is always something I love doing. I also think providing stimulating games for pets (puzzle toys and slow feeder bowls for feedings) is really important to enrich our fur babies lives.

Availability
I am currently working on growing my Rover business along with working at my dog daycare job. I always keep my calander updated with my current availability but I’m always willing to make accommodations if you need me on a specific date. I have a lot of free time at the moment to meet new clients!
