Longtime dog sitter, expanding onl

Pet care experience

On trails, I often catch myself smiling and waving to the dog first, and then the owner. Even though I have a dog of my own, I still love meeting and playing with other dogs. I know what it’s like to have a dog and the expectation of quality service for my baby. I have a senior rescue dog, Lucy, who hasn’t learned the concept “stranger danger”. Most of my experience has with Bichons Frise and Shih Tzus, and some Labrador. Non shedding dogs and/or regularly bathed dogs are my favorite to scratch and snuggle with (if they let me). As an elementary teacher, I shape kids’ behaviors with positive reinforcement, and have found that practice to be very effective for furry friends as well.

Megan was great with my dog doc. Very personable and asked all the right questions about doc. Will definitely use her again.

Information Megan C. would like to know about your pet

Is your dog friendly to people and other dogs? Are they an escape artist? What does your dog do that makes you the most upset? Has your dog had fleas and are they recieving monthly preventive care? What makes your dog happy?

A typical day

I believe daily walks contribute to a pet longevity and overall all well being. I do let some dogs “win” when I play tug a war. I am able to provide some special requests if they are requested a few days before the visit. Some examples of special requests include brushing hair, brushing teeth, cooking soft dog food, medication ( pill or syringe).
