Since the age of three, I had my first companion - a German Shepherd. Ever since this time, I've had a very strong bond with animals, especially dogs. I have two of my own dogs now and take care of family dogs from time to time. I play with them, feed them, water them, bathe them and brush them. I've given them medication, but I have no experience with disabled dogs, but I'm willing to give it a try as long as instructions are left and I'm walked through everything. The most important thing to me is the safety of the animal. I can even offer doggy play-dates; I have a large mixed pup who's energetic and up to date on all vaccinations. She's extremely friendly with other animals, but her size sometimes scare smaller dogs. Unfortunately, I cannot offer in home stays if you are more than 20-30 minutes away from where I live because I do have my own dog to take care of. I also am taking online college classes that I have new assignments weekly which I need Wi-Fi to do.
