Background: I am a graduate student at Boston College studying social work. Originally I am from upstate New York where I got my bachelors! I have personal transportation so i am quite flexible. Since I have moved to Boston I have wanted a more flexible job. That’s when I thought walking and taking care of pups and cats would be the perfect and stress relieving job for me 🐶🐱 Experience: I have been watching dogs for about 6 years now. I have watched dogs such as grey hounds, collies, yorki poos, labs etc. Doggos and cats are like humans and for sure need different types of care. I have worked with dogs on multiple medications, one dog was on 4 types! I have taken genuine care following instructions for giving medicine. I have also given dogs insulin shots if need be because of diabetes!! Not just dogs but I also have taken care of cats with specific medication needs. I have worked with cats that have required consistently refilling water because of dietary reasons. In my experience i have slept over for two weeks at a time taking care of dogs and cats before, making sure I’m there morning and night. Also, not too long in between to check in on them throughout the day if i had work or had plans. Philosophy: I am of course willing to play and go on walks whenever the pup needs some time to get some energy out! Every dog and cat has such a unique personality and thats truly what is the most fun about them.
