Pet care experience
I have a 5 year old beagle mix (penny), I have had several different size and breeds of dogs and love them all. I have 5 crested geckos, 1 leapord gecko, 1 Asian forest scorpion, and 1 veiled chameleon. Me and my fiance have a lot of experience with dogs and most reptiles so all furry and scaly friends welcome :)

Megan was wonderful with our golden retriever, Milo. I'm so fortunate that she was able to take him during the Christmas holiday while we were out of town. I received many pictures and updates throughout his stay, which was very much appreciated.
Megan was so responsive and accommodating for our travel plans that changed a couple of times. Would absolutely recommend her!
If you're looking for an amazing pet sitter of any breed, look no further, megan is your girl! She watched my dog and bearded dragon while I was out of town and she was fantastic! She's so friendly with my dog who doesn't like humans very much, but they got along right off the bat! She has a ton of experience with reptiles and pretty much already knew what to do before I told her! Highly recommend 12/10!!!

We take our dog penny out to use the bathroom at least 3-4 times daily and take her for a walk of at least 15-20+ minutes once daily weather permitting. All of our reptiles have UVB lighting with timers, misting systems on timers, and adequate heating depending on the type of reptile and their required husbandry. Our crested geckos get mainly pangea mix regularly and live feeders ocassionally. Our leapord gecko, chameleon, and scorpion get a variety of live feeders dubias, super worms, silk worms, crickets, etc about 2-3 times weekly as they are all adults. We love the outdoors and go walking and hiking often with our son Jasper who is also an animal lover! We also love plants and can help care for them as well if you are out of town.

Most important is a thorough description of their daily schedule. I would like to mimic their normal day as much as possible as I know it is just as hard on dogs to be without their humans, as it is for humans to be without their fur babies. Other important information I would like to know is medical history especially if they are older and/or on medications, foods they are unable to tolerate, and their temperament with other dogs and children. I have a great knowledge of first aid and I have a BLS which is CPR for healthcare workers. I'm certified for adults and infants and I am fully vaccinated against Covid and up to date on flu vaccine. I work in healthcare and have to administer medications and vaccines/injectables on a daily basis so I am very confident in caring for any pets with special needs.
A typical day
I love to go walking at the art museum, umstead park, and greenway trails. We have a dog park in our neighborhood. My dog penny loves other dogs and always enjoys company especially if its nice weather and treats are involved!

Availability
I currently work for Duke Primary Care Monday-Friday. I have time before work and after but weekends are the time I am most available. My fiance is also on Rover and we typically can meet the needs of clients between both us. He is a zip line instructor and works opposite of me most of the time but we have a good amount of flexibility.
