I have experience taking care of adult dogs, puppies, adult cats, kittens, birds, hamsters, bunnies, fish, chickens, (and even a frog at one time), since I was 10 years old. I have recently taken care of a crate-trained and pure-bread Leonberger puppy as well as a senior Leonberger; and have experience caring for many different dog breeds, such as dachshunds, golden retrievers, chihuahuas, king cavaliers, bichons, pitbulls, labs, and rescue mixes. I'm also experienced with taking adult dogs and puppies for walks in the neighborhood as well as to local dog parks. My experience also includes giving senior dogs and cats medication as directed. I'm definitely a cat lover as well, and love using laser lights with adult cats and kittens to make sure they get plenty of play-time. Above all, I always make sure to treat all the pets I care for with my love, attention, and affection. I currently work part-time and have a flexible schedule. I don't leave a client's home for more than a few hours at a time during the week and weekend. When I'm pet-sitting I make sure to take good care of a client's home, and will crate a pet if I leave the home to run an errand if needed. I make sure to pick up pets' poop and clean litter boxes daily. I believe in making the home as secure as possible, so I keep all the doors locked and make sure I have emergency contacts for vets, neighbors, and/or close by family members. I also water the garden as well as house plants and take in the mail, and take out garbage and recycling as scheduled. I make sure no dishes are left in the sink and wash and replace sheets on the bed before I leave. Lastly, I'm fully vaccinated and wear a mask on dog walks, and leave a client's home neater than I found it.
