Active, dog-loving law student!

Pet care experience

When I was 10 years old, I convinced my parents to get our family a beagle. Dogs have been a huge part of my life ever since. Having a dog of my own isn't an option while I'm in law school, so dog-sitting through Rover is just as beneficial for me as it is for you! I have provided dog-sitting services for family and friends for several years. I also currently volunteer at NKLA, a shelter dog rescue group. I'm just as comfortable with big dogs as I am with small ones, and I'm especially fond of the bully breeds. I'm responsible, patient, and well-versed in dog behavior. I know how important our fur-babies are and I would give your dog all the love, attention, exercise, and care that you do!

Megan is great! She was so sweet with Walter. She is kind, smart, and super reliable, always on time. She sent us pictures of Walter and little reports while we were away. Our house looked untouched when we got back. Besides being a terrific dog Sitter, she helped us with our Halloween makeup before we left!!! We certainly will be hiring her again!

Megan looked after our 7 month old pup Franklin while we were away for a wedding and she was phenomenal! This was our first time using Rover and Megan made the entire process seamless. You could tell she has a lot of experience with dogs based on the questions she asked and how she interacted with Franklin. She provided updates throughout the weekend and really gave us peace of mind while we were gone. I cannot recommend her enough!

We recently went away for 2 weeks and hired Megan to walk our Cane Corso, Thunder during the days our house sitter was at work. Thunder doesn't like most people he meets but he loved Megan right away. Megan was professional and already knew how to handle a large breed dog like Thunder. He is also strong willed and stubborn but she hit it off with him immediately and he enjoyed her visits and walks. We will definitely use her again soon!

Megan was awesome! She came over for a nice "get to know you" visit before we left our dog. All her visits were prompt and lengthy, her updates were timely and gave us peace of mind. We definitely plan to ask her next time we need drop-in visits. Thanks, Megan!

Information Megan C. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know if your dog is reactive to any particular situations (i.e. leashes, food, small children, other dogs) so that I can adjust my care accordingly. If you know of any adverse history your dog has experienced, please fill me in. Finally, if you have rules regarding where you dog can and can't go in the house, or if you use any unusual commands or techniques with your dog, please let me know. I love all breeds of dogs, especially the bully breeds.

A typical day

Whatever your pup wants to do, we'll do! If they love hiking, we can hit the trails at Temescal Canyon Park. If they need a nice, long run to get the wiggles out, I'm an avid fitness enthusiast and can keep up with the highest energy-level dogs. If they're a senior dog who likes to take it slow, we can just stroll and sniff around the neighborhood. We can play fetch, check out local dog parks, or just snuggle on the couch -- your dog's happiness is my priority!
