I have been on Rover consistently since 2018. I live in a multi-story unit with a privacy fenced in yard that is only used by our apartment. We live on a quiet street, and can choose to stay in our quiet neighborhood for walks, or go to more trafficked areas based on dog’s needs. For boarding and daycare, we request you allow time for introductions to the resident dogs, and welcome you to see the place they will be staying. I have confident experience with special needs dogs-meaning human or dog selective/reactive, elderly, special diets, medical needs, and beyond. I go to graduate school for behavioral psychology with animals and humans.I also have experience caring for personal and professional dogs that fit the bill. I am comfortable doing slow introductions as needed, and providing direct contacts to the owners that I have worked with. I started watching dogs before I got a dog of my own, and have grown my world around animals since. I have long time clients that request services from me, and am welcoming to new clients as well. I love bringing dogs to the woods, the dog park, or stay in your neighborhood/yard if that is what works for your dog! For house sittings, I usually bring my dog along but may be able to accommodate something else if needed. If you have other pets in the home, I am comfortable around most types. If you have a favorite place, or a place your dog is most comfortable I am willing to bring them there. I am COVID conscious, and willing to accommodate your needs and comfortability. I understand this is a hard time for everyone, so let me know what will be best to help you! My availability follows a public school schedule including summer school (though shortened days then). Depending on location, I can be available some weekday evenings for services.
