I have taken care of dogs since I was young. I have a 14 year old Maltese/Poodle mix at home, and I have cared for neighbors' and families' almost all my life. Since I was about 9 or 10, I have been regularly walking, feeding, and occasionally doing overnight care for dogs of different sizes.

I have a fully fenced yard with plenty of open grass space for exercise and potty time. I have one 14 year old dog, who currently lives in my home. Full disclosure, he is getting old and a little skittish. If I had your dog overnight, he will likely be scared and avoid other dogs. He does not attack or antagonize, he just likes to mind his own business. I can easily crate your dog for nighttime or other needs. I have experience with different types of leashes, as well.

Please let me know of any special needs your dog may need ahead of time. I have experience with senior dogs, as I live with one myself, and I am happy to accommodate any medications or extra time your dog may need.
A typical day
I love to get exercise in, so I have plenty of places I can take dogs for walks. There is also a dog park near my house that I am perfectly capable of walking your dog over to. I also like going over to the trials near my house with lots of open grass and land, and there is little activity if your dog is excitable.

I currently work part-time, so I am available most afternoons and weekends! I can definitely be available for drop-ins for feeding or walking, and I can be available for overnight care as well.
