Fear Free Shelter Certified
Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Megan and I am passionate about all animals. I worked full-time at a shelter, helping shelter animals get their forever homes. During that time, I became proficient in dictating behavior, illnesses, training, and more. I have medicated, vaccinated, and treated dogs and cats. I have even helped some poor geckos get rid of some stuck shed. I also became Fear Free Shelter certified, so you know with me you'll be guaranteed your pet will have a stress-free vacation while your family is gone. I'm currently a junior in college working towards my Animal Science degree with a concentration in Pre-Veterinary and a minor in Business. I am also an officer for a club that offers TNRs (trap, neuter, release) for feral cats in the area. I have experience with almost all animals, including special needs or senior pets. I am trained to give animals a stress-free environment. I can work with animals of all behaviors, and give them space if needed or cuddle if desired. I love to go above and beyond and make sure animals are walked, played with, have enrichment, been brushed or bathed, and are mentally tired and ready for their families to come back! I am available most days and times. Just communicate with me and we can work things out!

Always takes great care of my cats.
A wonderful and caring pet sitter. I always know I can trust her with my kitties no matter what is going on. Excellent communication.
Megan was the best! Stayed in touch, things were great! Will use her again …
Very helpful! My dogs needed a check in and Megan was so sweet and prepared to meet my dogs with love and treats ♥️

Safety, trust & environment
I treat your animals with the same amount of kindness and respect I treat my own pets with. I will ensure I train, interact, and communicate with your animal the same way you do. I know routine and caring for your pet the same way you do ensures less stress for both the human and animal.

Information Megan B. would like to know about your pet
What are they like around children? Do they like to be pet by strangers? How are they around other dogs? Is there any quirks that your dog has that I need to know? Any rules I need to know (like getting off of the furniture)? Are they crate/kennel trained?
A typical day
A typical day for me is to first start and finish my classes from 7am-12pm. After that, I'm ready to go! I always carry treats and toys on me, and extra leashes just in case! (Actually, I keep two treat pouches in my car-everyone loves treats!) I make sure a dog is mentally ready for a walk, calm at the door, then we go! I make sure to include some training and toy time on walks, just to make sure your pup is tired mentally and physically! Then, we relax and do whatever your pup wants, until its time to walk again!

Availability
School is my current priority, but during the weekends or after my classes I am free to take care of your pets! Just communicate with me and we can work something out. Most weekdays during the semester I am busy from 9am-5pm, but my schedule slightly differs day to day. Holidays, however, I am usually free!
