Pet care experience
After spending my whole life loving animals and caring for my own various pets through my childhood, I decided to open a professional pet sitting business and provide pet care, house sitting, and dog walking. I learned so much about animals, especially cats and dogs, in that time. I have taken several courses on animal behavior and safety as well as Pet CPR and First Aid courses to level up my knowledge with animals and to be able to have an understanding and the skills to take care of a pet in an emergency situation. I've also spent time working at a veterinary clinic. I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rodents. I am able to administer medications and have experience with special needs animals.

Megan did a great job watching our pup! She was enthusiastic, lovable, and diligent about making sure Iggy was comfortable. Megan sent us pictures throughout the stay and was wonderful about communicating with us! We’d definitely use her again as a dog sitter!
I love my furbabies, but I'm pretty sure Megan may love them more than me. She obviously has a huge heart and knows what she is doing. After working with her, I don't think anyone else can top her work ethic and dedication to the animals she cares for. She's patient, kind, and just an overall pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

Our dogs love Megan! She is so easy to work with and great at communicating. She always makes sure to give them good long walks and lots of play time! I’ve always been anxious to leave our dogs with just anyone but I don’t worry at all when I know megan is taking care of them. I suggest her to anyone that is needing a new dog sitter!

I'd be happy to bring in mail, trash cans, packages, and any other things we agree upon that you may need while I'm there caring for your pet(s) and home. I always make sure refresh the pets' water bowl, clean up after any accidents that may occur under my watch, and of course clean up after myself.

It's important for me to know their general personality and temperament, any fears or phobias they may have, and definitely any dietary restrictions or allergies. I also want to know what your dog loves to do and what kind of tricks and behaviors we can work on enforcing while I am with them.
A typical day
Every dog has their day! I want to make theirs. Dogs (and cats!) like people have very different personalities and I would cater to theirs. If your dog loves to play fetch non-stop, we'll be in the backyard. If your dog or cat is more of a snuggly bunny, I'll spend my time giving them lots of attention and cuddles. I will cater to you and your pet(s) preferences to make sure they enjoy their time!

Availability
I am currently pet sitting full time. I am available for drop ins and dog walks from 8 am- 8pm. I am available for overnights from 9 pm- 7 am. Visits outside of these hours may be available for an additional fee on a case-to-case basis.
