Hello! I’m Megan and I would love to welcome your beloved pet into my “Woofpack!” I fully believe pets are family and while they are in my care they will be treated like family as well. I’ve had dogs all my life and added a cat to my household a few years ago too. There’s nothing that quite compares to the kind of joy they bring! That being said, I know how important it is to have peace of mind when trusting a pet to someone else’s care. I am a hyper-vigilant pet mom myself and I try to provide the same attentive care I would want for my own pets. Being a very active and attentive person you can count on them being well-loved, exercised, and mentally stimulated with me! My experience includes dogs, cats, caged animals, chickens, and I even boarded a pig once. But I am open to other animals I haven’t worked with yet as well. If there are any unique challenges with yours, I’m happy to tend to them in whatever way will make them safest and happiest in my care! :)

Wow Megan was so great! My husband and I had to go up to Portland for my infant sons eye appointment and we were on the fence about leaving our very energetic Corgi pup, at 8pm I text Megan to see if she can take care of her the next day and if we could drop her off at 7am and she said yes. We also had to stay in Portland a few hours longer then we thought and I asked her if she could watch her a couple more hours and her response was yes, she was so flexible and understanding. My Millie had a great time at her house, Megan is truly a dog whisperer I will definitely be using her again.
Bowie loves this place - his second time he ran into the house, which is unusual. He comes home safe, tired and happy. We love out of town and are super happy to have a comfy place for hum when we’re visiting :)
We are very particular with where we take our trauma/covid pup. Megan worked with us, let us drop by to meet her the day before and let me bug her with texts while we were out to check in. We are looking forward to using her in the future!!
Megan did great watching our puppy Bailey. We were gone for a week and able to enjoy our time away knowing Bailey was in good hands. Megan sent updates and photos of Bailey during the week to let us know how things were going. Megan was professional and we knew right away she would be a good fit.

I don’t discriminate against any breeds! If your pet has any behavioral quirks or medical conditions it would be important for me to be made aware of those things. That wouldn’t change whether I accept a booking - it is only for safety. If I know that certain behaviors or medical issues exist I can be hyper aware of those things to ensure that no accidents ever happen in my care. Otherwise I only ask that your pup be reasonably well-behaved and non-aggressive.
A typical day
I am happy to walk your pup around the neighborhood, take them to a dog park if there’s one nearby, play fetch or tug rope in the yard, or simply spend time giving them lots of pets and attention. I have extensive experience from tiring out the most playful of puppies to simply loving on and making sure all care needs are met for elderly sweethearts. Their care will be customized to whatever is best for them!

Availability
I do work away from the home, so some flexibility around my own schedule is very much appreciated. If I am not available to house sit, I may still be able to provide drop-in services and walks, or even have your pup at my own home to be doted on by my family when I am out of the house. If I do board at my own home, I just require a short "trial run" (like dropping him/her off while you run errands for an hour) to see if its a good fit.
