vet tech, dog lover, pet parent.

Pet care experience

I've been a vet tech for the past nine years, pet sitting for the past eleven years, I'm a pet parent as well so I will treat your fur babies like they're my own. I have references if needed, i try and keep as close to your schedule as I can. I can medicate, give injections, walk, bathe, take to appointments, clean the house, check the mail, walks, potty breaks and just about anything you’ll need. I specialize in diabetic pets, and behavior issues, but will take on anything! Feel free to ask any questions. I take care of dogs, cats, horses, pigs, birds, and small furry animals. My normal protocol would be to stay at your home. Thank you for stopping by! Hope to hear from you soon!

We would highly recommend Megan to anyone that was looking for someone to take the utmost care of their pet. We used Megan to dog sit our French Bulldog and after seeing the kind of care she took of our dog, I don't think we will ever be able to use anybody else! We do not just let anybody keep our Daisy because she is, probably like most pet owners feel, like one of our family members. Megan took wonderful care of our baby and treated her like one of her own. You can definitely tell animals are her passion. She would even send us pictures while we were away from her, reassuring us she was happy and enjoying herself. It also made us feel so good knowing that she works for a veterinarian's office and knows quite a bit about animals. Knowing that if the need arose she could quickly get Daisy the care she needed, was so reassuring to us. She even gave us some great recommendations on new foods to try with her…that by the way, our dog ended up absolutely loving! I cannot say enough good things about Megan. Anyone that chooses to use her services can rest assured that their "babies" are in the best possible hands!!!

Megan has truly been a Godsend for us and our Rhodesian Ridgebacks. She is such a great sitter and has gone above and beyond what I would have expected her to. We have two Ridgebacks and both have anxiety. One can be kenneled, however she does much better in her own home. The other Ridgeback was a rescue that we unexpectedly now have (long story). The problem is, the rescue was abused and is afraid of most people. Due to his back story, he can't be put in a kennel or confined space. So we needed to find someone who wasn't afraid to work with us on his fear and growling. Megan would come over monthly, weekly or daily to visit us and the rescue so that he built trust with her. I believe most sitters would have taken one look at a dog that growled and gone the other way. And really I couldn't blame them. In short, Megan goes out of her way to work with you and your dogs. She is a vet tech and understands dogs. We feel much better knowing Megan can spot a medical problem and act if needed. She isn't afraid to work with more challenging dogs either. We wouldn't know what to do if she wasn't our sitter.

Megan is amazing! I met her several yards ago when I applied to be a volunteer with a national French bulldog rescue. She did my home visit and was very through at making sure everything was safe and secure. When I had to go out of town last year and leave my dogs ( one who I had never been apart from once in 8 years ) it was a no brainier on who to hire. Megan is super diligent in making sure your pets and home are safe. She is also a vet tech so even in the case of an emergency they would be in good hands She left my house cleaner than it was when I left and even took one of my animals to work with her because of her severe separation anxiety. Megan is awesome and I would trust her with my life and dogs any day!

Megan loves your dog like her own! We have had Megan take care of our 2 dogs in our home and at times added our son's dog when we have gone on family vacations ( for 2 weeks or just a short weekend) We feel confident in her ability to take care of anything that might arise. Our canine kids are spoiled and she makes sure they don't miss us! Megan is responsible and truly loves all animals!
