My goal is for the pups I watch to be so busy they forget that mom and dad aren't home! From walks and runs to tug-o-war and sprinkler fetch (yea, it's a thing!), I love dogs because they say yes to anything that gets them moving- just like me! With a year of professional dog-waking and pet-sitting experience under my belt and a small base of existing clients, my natural gravitation towards furry four-legged friends has developed into a means of contributing to my city and community. I run 2 miles a day and always love company! For the more timid ones, a steady yoga practice has taught me to hold space and my work with 4DogPaws instilled in me the skills to create a routine that helps pups adjust. I am new to Portland and while I miss my regulars back home, I look forward to making new friends!

Megan was amazing. Our dog, Bentley, was well taken care of and happy when we returned. She went above and beyond house sitting as well. Her linens were washed. I couldn’t tell that anyone had been in our home!
It appears my dog was not walked on the arranged schedule. My dog does not poop in the back yard if she is walked on schedule. My backyard was piled with poop including at least 6 dumps that were not my dog’s. One of the guest dog’s poops was in my vegetable bed, ugh. I had mentioned that my dog walks well with others, having another dog at my home was never discussed. My dog also gained weight in the 12 days I was away, also suggesting she was not walked on schedule. Megan was very friendly, reliable and communicative. We had an early fall snowstorm the day before I came home and Megan told me she did not have a chance to scoop the poop under the snow. If the dog had been walked on schedule there shouldn’t have been poop to scoop, let alone 2 dog’s poops.
She was great! Handled our 3 dog circus like a champ and updated us every day! She's definitely at the top of our dog sitter list :)
You can tell from the start that Megan is a genuine dog lover and enjoys spending time with my pup as much as my pup loves spending time with her. She always sends me pictures of whatever adventure the two of them have embarked on so I know my Indy is having a good time. Megan is always my first choice for a dog sitter when I leave town as she not only takes excellent care of Indy, but of my house as well. This girl is sure to be your dog's new best friend!

I am 5 feet tall so if a larger dog is a jumper, I definitely want to know! I like to be prepared and ready for all the love! I appreciate knowing whether a dog is good with men, women, kids, other dogs, loud noises, squirrels, geese, (etc) if they run out the door, what commands they respond to, allergies, how many treats they're allowed, history of fights or incidents, injuries, general demeanor, if they like car rides, and most importantly what their daily routines are.
