My family has had dogs since I was born, so I learned to take care of growing puppies very early on. I was raised with two big, goofy golden retrievers and began sitting the pets of friends and family from a young age. I quickly became a go-to pet sitter in my neighborhood. While living with my sister in Boston during the initial covid-19 quarantine, I also helped her foster several rounds of months-old puppies—bathing, potty training, and even deworming them. Through looking after animals large and small, I’ve cultivated a love for taking care of other people’s pets and making sure they’re thriving as much as possible while their parents are off and away. I’m unable to house any pets in my apartment at this time, but I’m more than happy to be a regular dog walker. I am committed to making your pet’s walks as relaxing, fun, and loving as possible. I’m an undergraduate student, so my availability is open mostly Friday-Monday, with occasional open slots during mid-week as well. See my calendar for a more precise layout of my availability. My apartment is a short block away from Sakura Park and Riverside Park, so your pup will have access to lots of green space and fresh air on my watch. Before walking your dog, I will communicate with you about acceptable distance, kinds of playing (fetch, dog park, etc.), treats, special care, favorite spots, and other important ground rules!
