🐶🐱 with Animal Care Professional!

Pet care experience

I am a lifelong animal lover by nature and an animal care specialist for SPCA by profession, trained by BC SPCA and Fear Free Pet, LLC. I am also currently in the process of becoming a veterinary assistant at animal hospital. My other recent dog/cat care experiences include professional dog walking and dog hotel + daycare. I have always had pets growing up and in my adulthood. Your pet's safety, comforts and joy come first before anything else. I'm also fluent in Japanese. 日本語でもお気軽にどうぞ。

Meg has a very kind approach with animals. I’ve seen her work with horses for a few years now and she is very responsible, loving, compassionate and always puts their needs first. Overall she is friendly, great with animals and I would trust her 100% to responsibly care for animals of all sizes!

Meg is such a wonderful pet sitter/dog walker! She's so incredibly kind and really loves animals. She's super reliable and will always take the time to get to know pets so she can show them a great time without ever compromising safety. I'd leave my beloved Lyla in her care any day!

My daughter, Meg always has had a special heart for animals. As a young child, she had a hamster and took a good care of her until she died of age. She took horseback riding lessons where she was trained and learned how to take care of horses, and she loved riding as well as working for the horses. She was a good jumper who competed in many competitions. While living in an apartment in Kitsilano, she took care of an old cat until she died of age and cancer. Now, she has a cat that she adapted when she was a baby kitten and cherishes her. Meg is always responsible, loving, very careful and warm toward those little animals. Now she works at a SPCA cat shelter and loves the job. She is also very patient and observant of the pets under her care and notices any small changes in them, behavioural or physical.

Meg is my friend. Whenever I go away, I ask Meg to look after my cat. She does a fantastic job. When I come back from a three week trip, Honey my cat is happy and healthy. The most important thing she does is spend time with Honey. Cats get stressed with no contact. When I return, it is like I never left. I would highly recommend Meg as a pet sitter/walker. Meg is a very kind person and loves animals. I believe this is one of her strengths. I trust Meg, which is very important.

A typical day

I love to stimulate and engage with your pet physically, mentally and emotionally based on loving interaction and positive reinforcement. I really love to mingle with animals on their level, from their perspective. I take him/her to the beaches, parks, playing fetches or games or with toys, and lots of love and cuddles as long as your pet is comfortable.
