The best way to tire your dog out is by letting them play with other dogs! My dog Penny has not met a dog she didn't like. I have a yard with plenty of room for dogs to run. I work from home, so I'm with the dogs all day, taking breaks with the dogs between meetings. I started off watching dogs or cats for co-workers, friends, and family. I am able to give your dogs medication if they are taking any. In the case of emergency, I know where the closest Emergency Vet is located.
