Avid animal lover

Pet care experience

Hello everyone! My name is Meg and I have many years of pet sitting and animal care experience! I am trained on appropriate handling techniques, and I have lots of patience for timid and hyper dogs alike. I also have experience with special-need and/or senior dogs as well as special needs cats. I recognize that it takes a bit of trust to leave your pet in someone else’s care, so I can assure you that I’ll give your pet quality care, plenty of attention, and will treat your pet as if they are my own! One of my favorite things about working with animals is getting to see each pet’s individual quirks and personality! I love to play with, snuggle, give belly rubs, and care for animals of all kinds!

Meg was great! She actually played with the dogs to help relieve some of their energy. We have 2 very energetic pups and are grateful that she was available to help me with them. It takes a certain character to handle our dogs and found Meg to be able to watch over them and attend to their needs. She even brought all of my packages in. ? Definitely will book her again.

Thank you to Meg for taking good care of Lucky and Bagel for the day. They seemed happy and enjoyed their walks and play time. Will definitely rebook Meg in the future for doggie care.

Safety, trust & environment

When I enter your home for either a drop-in visit or to pick your dog up for a walk, I always take a few minutes before beginning the service to get your dog accustomed to me and comfortable in my presence!

Information Meg W. would like to know about your pet

I need to know of any aggressive tendencies, as well as any medical or behavioral conditions that may effect your pet while in my care.

A typical day

I am ready for walks and activities of any pace or type! If you have a high energy dog who prefers a brisk walk to light jog, I am here to help him or her get that energy out! If your dog would rather a slow pace filled with many breaks to sniff things or have some belly rubs before continuing on, I am happy to stroll around. I love nature, so if there are any parks or trails near your home that your dog enjoys, I would love to spend some time walking them there as well!
