Private, high profile pet nanny!
Pet care experience
I have had personal animals my whole life, from dogs to birds to hamsters to horses. When I was 15 years old (I’m now 34), I have had countless clients wherever I lived who have trusted not only my services, but my respect for my clients’ privacy when in their home and in conversation. I only do in-client pet/house sitting and do not take pets to my personal home. I will be looking to do this on a part time basis for select clients who are looking for the exceptional pet/home sitter. I will bring in mail/packages, turn on select lights at night, adjust temperature controls as needed, and will (of course) provide exceptional care for your furred, scaled, feathered loved one(s) while you are away.
Reviews
Meg is phenomenal! Does such a wonderful job with our 2 kitties. Couldn't recommend her more!
Thank you so much for taking such good care of my boy when I’m at work!! I know I don’t have to worry about him when you are coming over to walk him. You always go above and beyond!

Safety, trust & environment
I ask thorough questions about what the pet is used to. I do, however, always leash for safety. I am always aware of what type of personality I am dealing with and whether the animal needs more or less stimulation. I always do a thorough check in the home for “messes” or “behavioral” slips. And I always send at least one photo per visit.
Information Meg S. would like to know about your pet
I do not have any breed preferences. I do need to know if the dog/cat is notorious for chewing/accidents/anxiety prone. This will give me the knowledge to check extra well in the house for any “mishaps”.
A typical day
I always, always ask pet owners what the pet’s normal routine is and do my best to accommodate—whether that be going for a long walk in the mornings before the blaring sun, playing fetch, or just lounging on the couch like vegetables, I will do it. I try not to over stimulate a pet since that will typically make a dog more anxious when left alone, but I do know there are certain breeds that need exercise to release the energy (I am also a runner and will be happy to go running with your dog if he/she is comfortable doing so).

House sitting (if chosen): I will not be available from 7:15am until 1:15pm Mon-Fri as I work at my child’s school during the school year (August-May). Otherwise, I will stay at your home the rest of the day/night and all weekend and devote my time to your home/pets.
