Pet care experience
We are a family of four with two teens who love animals. Josie (16) is an aspiring veterinarian and the primary pet caregiver. We have one long-haired dachshund, Theo, who is 13. He gets along with all dogs and is really chill. We also foster and one summer had a pregnant mama who had nine pups we raised for 9 weeks! We will give your pup all the love. We would love to watch your pets, in your house or yours. We have a fenced backyard and the teens in the house love to sleep with dogs. We would love to watch your doggie when you have to head out of town. We send lots of photos when your pup stays with us. Our nephew just moved in and LOVES cats. He is in our large converted garage and is also able to cat sit in our home or yours!

I've booked 10+ Rovers over the past 10 years, and there's no hesitation when I say that Meg & Josie are BY FAR the best sitters that I have ever booked. I don't think it would be a stretch to say that they're probably the best in Gainesville. Updates & pictures every day. My dog literally wasn't even excited for me to pick her up, she wanted to stay and even tried to go back into the house instead of going into my car! Will book again without a doubt!
We received updates and pictures the entire time. We will definitely be bringing our pups back. We didn’t worry about them at all.
My dog always loves staying here! Meg and Royce and their family always show him a lot of love and provide lots of cute pictures of him. He has stayed with them three times, and they are my go-to people when I go out of town and need to board my dog.

Availability
In the summer, there is nearly always someone home! We have plenty of time to take care of your pet. During the school year we are at school and work most days. If we are watching your pup on a weekday, then they have to be able to be left for 6-7 hours. On the weekends we are here all the time!
