Pet care experience
I’m a college student at Rockford University who is always looking to meet new dogs! I spent the last three years being the primary caregiver to my wonderful fluff, Bentley. I saw him at the shelter I frequent and instantly knew he was mine! I also grew up taking care of my family dogs, as well as house sitting and walking friends’ dogs. I have taken care of dogs as big as Great Danes and as small as Chihuahuas. My love for dogs outweighs my love for humans because why not? Dogs are so much more loving! I love Bentley lots and will love your dogs (and cats) too! I cannot wait to meet other dogs and help out dog owners. I understand busy lives, and it is always better for the dog to get some extra attention!

Meg used to dog sit for me during the days while I worked. She was very flexible and great to have! My pup absolutely loves her. She always made me feel very reassured that Ollie was in good hands by sending pictures/videos of him doing various things. She also was more than willing to take him to parks or on walks to make sure he was busy and having fun! She handled my dogs energy very well (he’s a two year old, 80 lb golden retriever). We recently moved to another state and Ollie really misses her. We occasionally FaceTime her to chat and Ollie gets excited and runs to my phone at the sound of Megan’s voice. Meg is great!
Meg has loved and been around animals from the day she was born. She’s currently living in FL and away from her two own pets, a dog and a cat, both rescues.
Meg’s love for dogs is heartwarming! She is a friendly, trustworthy, and responsible girl with positive energy. Meg will without a doubt take great care of any pup!

Always good to know anything that I need to watch out for, not good around other dogs/animals, likes to hold their leash when walking, etc. I love knowing their quirks, it makes it more fun to see them actually happen! Other than that-the general stuff, how often they like to/need to go outside-or do they like to hang out outside and is that ok with the human. If they keep food and water always in the bowl or at specified times, if anything scares the dog, and what each dog likes to do-maybe even something that they don’t get to do often enough.
A typical day
We can go on walks wherever makes you comfortable! I love to engage dogs in fetch, tug-a-war, and general playtime!
