Pet care experience
Meg and John have professionally provided pet care services (boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, and walks) for 2.5 years and have both grown up with dogs and other animals. They have a friendly, 6-year-old rescue pup and are excited to welcome your fur baby for a visit! Meg works out of our home caring for our infant son, so she is able to do walks in the morning, a potty break in the afternoon, and we both love to take our pup, son, and visiting pups on long walks in the evenings and on weekends. Our 6-year-old hound mix, Kawi will be sure to keep your pet company during their visit. We have plenty of toys, tennis balls, and an extra dog bed to share! We live in a townhome and have a small yard space, safe spaces to go on walks, and beautiful parks in the area. Fur babies are welcome to cuddle and snuggle on the couch and in bed if they choose, and we're happy to accommodate a crate if needed.

Wow wow wow! What a family. We have never done Rover before and this was Roxie’s first time. She has a bit of separation anxiety but she instantly felt at home and they treated her like an angel. 10 out of 10. My heart was sooo happy that she was so happy and well cared for. They saved out thanksgiving!!

We encourage Meet & Greets at our home - this is a great opportunity for your pup to meet our pup and gain familiarity with our home. We typically separate pups during feeding times - we have a gate in the kitchen, a closed lanai, and a separate bedroom if needed. We also encourage the use of crates if your pup is crate trained and would thrive with the comfort.

We have an infant son so we are only able to accept well-behaved animals in our home that also get along with other dogs. Please provide feeding schedule, how often your dog needs to go out, your pet's energy level, and any special care or behaviors we should know about. We want to make sure your fur baby is as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
There are beautiful parks and plenty of spaces for walks around our house. I love running and would love to run with a willing pup! We also have plenty of toys - including doggie mind puzzles!
