Undivided Attention For Your Buddy
Pet care experience
Hi, my roommate and I will take great care of your dog(s) and/or cat/s should you book with us, as we welcome him/her/them into our house like they are part of our family. One or both of us is home every day, so we provide 24 hour supervision for those pets that need it. We both love all animals and are always finding new ways to play with our own. He is an overly affectionate cat named Vader. He grew up with three dogs in our previous home and is open to making new friends. Vader sometimes thinks he's a dog and is a member of the pack. He has only seen one other cat and was very playful with him. If your animal is not a fan of cats, Vader can be relocated to a separate part of the house. I love to take a nightly run at the park down the street from our house. And go on a morning and evening walk, sometimes one at lunch weather permitting. So if you're dog likes to go out, we are the household for you. All dogs are considered inside dogs in our home with someone home 24/7 to give all the love and affection we gave our own dog. About this sitter: My name is Meg and I have nothing but time to spend with your furry loved ones. My services consist of potty breaks, walks throughout the day (plus a park visit), cuddle time, petting time, water bowl refills, meals, cleaning up after any mess, administering meds, and vet visits (should the need occur). Why I love dog sitting: My whole life I have had two family dogs and have fostered more dogs than I can count. My latest dog, Baxter, was supposed to be a foster but I knew right away he had found his permanent home. I couldn't have asked for a better best friend. He passed in January 2018 and I cannot replace him just yet. I currently work on a cruise ship and am unable to care for a dog since I am away for so long. Rover gives me the opportunity to get some slobbery kisses during my time on land. Dogs are the best and their love is pretty amazing. About my yard: Our backyard is not fenced in. The patio is covered and is completely closed in. The terrain is lush green grass. The sun goes down over the house around three which makes the backyard a beautiful place to hang out in the summer. We have a couple large trees that keep it nice and shady. My experience administering medication: Administering medication is a case by case basis. I would have to know more about the terms and condition before agreeing to pet sit. I have administered liquids, pills, balms, and drops.
Reviews
Megan took great care of our pets. We have a geriatric high maintenance dog, and Megan didn't blink an eye. Always gave positive reports about all his snuggles and sent pics as well. Took great care of our house and was a great communicator.
Meg was amazing! She truly cares about the animals and was a great house sitter! We were out of town for 10 days and came back to happy pets and a house cleaner than when we left.
Meg took wonderful care of our cat. She was punctual and gave us great updates eirh pictures at each check in. Thank you Meg!
Very friendly & so professional. Goes above & beyond. She helped us out when we got into a hiccup at home. Highly recommended!!! 5/5 stars

I have a fenced in yard at my townhome. I am within walking distance of a lovely shaded park for morning and evening walks ( and everywhere in between.) The furniture in my house is pet friendly, and I am home all day to give my undivided attention. In your home I stick to your routine as best as possible. I don't leave the pets unattended, minus my runs. Just try to keep everything as normal as possible.
Information Meg G. would like to know about your pet
I like to do a meet and greet before the dog is dropped off at my place or before I spend the night with them. Takes the edge off of both myself and your loved one to be around someone familiar. Where they like to sleep is also a big one. I accommodate my house to their needs. How many treats are they allowed per day (if any)? As many as they can have Long walks or a field to run in? Both. Which ever floats their boat. Most importantly is there a favorite scratching or rubbing spot? My dog used to roll over and reveals is velvety tummy when he wants some loving. What is your dog's favorite toy and can you bring it with them?
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks: There is a shaded park within walking distance of my house that I go to in the mornings and evenings. I prefer that you bring a favorite toy and then we can get some playtime in throughout the day. I like to sit outside and read or we can just flop on the couch and cuddle. Everyone is different. Your dog's sleeping arrangement He will sleep in his own doggie bed provided by myself if you do not feel comfortable bringing their own bed. I will also allow your dog to sleep on my bed if they chose to do so. Also if that goes along with your rules of the house. I try to make them as comforted as possible. Time I'll spend with your dog At least an hour in the park happens every day as well as some quality cuddle time. I tend to talk a long walk or go to the park early in the morning and one right before sunset. Each dog has different needs so we can adjust as needed.

Availability
I am available all days and all hours. The cruise ship I work on is currently docked until December 2021. The most time I will be away from the pets is when I go for a run in the evenings. Those last anywhere from 20-45 minutes.
