I have had animals all my life ranging from a donkey and parrots to cats and dogs. Each Easter my parents gave me ducklings which I raised and then released into my grandparents pond - needless to say I am an animal person through and through! I currently live in Astoria in a relatively spacious apartment for NYC standards. I have two roommates and and an amazing cat, Samuel. He is indifferent with dogs who are relaxed and not too jumpy and secretly I think enjoys the company. I often watch my friends rescue dog, Lincoln, on the UES and have a rescue chihuahua at home in CT. I am good with all dogs at all ages and have experience with rescues who are a little shy and nervous around people/other animals as my chihuahua is the same and my neighbors dog has severe anxiety. I also have a strange ability to meet dogs (and cats) virtually anywhere I go. I love to go hiking in CT and take long walks around Astoria and would love to bring your dog along with me!
