We would love to watch your family's pup when you are out of town. We have been working for Rover clients for the last five years, both in Seattle and at our lovely home in Vienna. We have one acre of land, with an invisible fence. We walk our Rover pups, if that works, but they can also be outside with us under supervision. Our Rosie is a very sweet 3 year old rescue mix. About this sitter: We live in a one level home with dog toys, dog beds and we did have a wonderful old pup, Annie, a yellow lab. Two months ago we welcomed Rosie into our life and she is a love! She is a two year old mixed breed. We have one acre of land and use an electric fence system. But my son Justin, who is also a Rover dog watcher and handles much of the care of our Rover pups, and I like exercise and we walk our Rover dogs, throw balls for them and take them for walks in our backyard woods. I walk her, brush her, give her her meds,take her to the vet,we 'talk' to each other, she gardens with me (she is no help!) and she sits under my feet in the kitchen. I also have done pet sitting for friends and family. Why I love dog sitting My first dog was King, when I was a child. Back then dogs were allowed to wander and King did but he also regularly went on adventures with us through fields and over streams. He was a big, furry dog and I still remember hugging him. My next dog was Annie, our yellow lab. She is now 13 1/2 years old but she is still very stubborn, still loves walks and wags her tail, actually she wags her whole bottom and lays her ears back to warmly welcome any visitor, family or UPS driver alike.
