Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs of all sizes and have a good feel for their wants and needs as pets. I love being outdoors with them - playing catch, walking/running them, taking them to the park. But, I also don’t mind staying in with them too - lounging around, giving them scratches or brushing them, etc... I enjoy the company of dogs and their love for humans. I also understand that you can’t always be with your pup, and they deserve as much love and attention as they give us. So, I really am doing this as a favor to my fellow dog owners and their wanting to give their dogs the love and affection they deserve. My husband and I are excited to open our home to your pets and love them as we love our own!

Meg was the BEST dog sitter!! She was reliable and kept us posted each day on what the dogs were doing! She sent us pictures and detailed updates every day! I didn’t feel worried about the dogs while we were gone. We will definitely be using her again!
So thankful to Meg for keeping our sweet mini goldendoodle for the weekend. Meg was amazing! This was my first time using Rover and Meg made me feel very comfortable leaving my fur baby with her. She sent pics throughout the weekend and was very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend Meg and I know we will be using her again anytime we need boarding!

Meg has been phenomenal with dogs for the 15+ years I've known her. The encouraging and fair skill set that she uses as a teacher is something you will notice crosses over from the classroom to her interaction with animals, as well. Her New Orleans roots give her an adventurous and friendly personality, which balances incredibly well with how she maintains a sense of discipline and reward, and her dog as well as her family's dogs are prime examples of the fantastic outcome!

A typical day
I have lots of toys that my dogs love to play with like squeaky balls and ropes that are always run to play catch with outside or tug around with inside. If we were to go on walks it could be around the neighborhood, but I am also willing to bring them to the dog park to let them run around and roam as well. If not the dog park, I also love walking trails as well.
