Pet care experience
I’ve grown up rescuing cats and dogs of all kinds, nursing squirrels, kittens and puppies that have been abandoned or lost. I have had a number of dogs and kitties throughout my life that I have loved and cared for. Some were mine and many have been helping friends and family pet sit, dog walk, drop in to feed and play with their pets. It is my mission to help your animals feel safe, loved and cared for while their loved ones are away. It brings me joy to know pet owners love their fur babies and have entrusted me with caring for them over the years. I look forward to meeting you and loving your sweet babies. Meeya took care of our pets while we were in Europe. Not only did she drive about 30 minutes daily, but we have quite a few indoor kitties and outdoor dogs and she cared for them all so well. She cleaned the cat litter daily, changed it out completely after a week, refreshed dog water daily and even cleaned out thr water container as it was in the middle of summer. With the heat in Alabama, algae easily grows in stationary water so it was vital that she changed the water daily and cleaned the large bucket. We are so very grateful she made the effort to care for our mini zoo.

My yard is large and there’s plenty of room for dogs to race around and play. There is a cat door leading to a small screened in back patio where cats like to lounge on patio furniture. I do like going for walks around our neighborhood and used to run with my own dog on and off leash. I also love throwing my dog’s fav toy, tug of war and training with treats to some degree. When I lived in WV I was pet sitting in home and caring for a husky and we would go hiking every weekend.

Availability
I will possibly go full time with pet sitting as I may soon be a stay at home mom. I’m up early at 5AM most mornings. I am active and love walking throughout day. I do help coach my daughter’s soccer team several evenings each week. When I get to relax in the evenings I love curling up on the couch and watching a favorite show (perfect time for pet snuggles on the couch). My life has always involved caring for animals and it’s what I love to do.
