Pet care experience
I’ve had experience with all types of dogs from small to big ones as well as taken care of a wide variety of breeds. My family has owned boxers since I was a child and, as a result, I’m very comfortable around bully breeds. I’ve also helped take care of my family/friends dogs so I’m used to bathing, feeding, walking and of course playing/bonding with each and every one of them. Growing up in Sri Lanka surrounded by street dogs has made me aware of the challenging circumstances that dogs face, which, in turn, has fueled my motivation to make sure each dog receives the love and care it deserves. So much so that I have volunteered at street dog shelters to help as many dogs as possible, which in turn, has undeniably only made my love for dogs grow stronger and stronger.

Medhira has looked after my two German shepherds, Toby and Sadie, on many occasions and has always been extremely reliable; sending pictures and videos of them to keep me updated on their wellbeing, and always showing up on time. She is great with dogs and is from a dog-friendly household, so I always feel confident letting her pet sit for me as I can count on her to understand my dogs' behavior and needs. She is friendly, easy going, and an absolute joy to leave the dogs with.

Availability
I work full time in office Mon-Thurs from 9am-5pm. I work from home Friday with minimal/flexible workload, therefore am available Friday-Sunday. Happy to be contacted a day before.
