"I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and DOGGONE it, people (and dogs) like me!" I have been a dog owner since I was a child. I myself have a 14 y/o Yorkie, whom I've had since she was a puppy. I also have a 5 y/o Basenji mix who is quite a character. She has an auto-immune disease, requiring regular medication and monitoring. I have also previously had bird dogs, boxers, Lhasa Apso's, miniature poodles, and dachshunds. In addition to those breeds, I have done pet sitting for numerous other breeds, large and small. I am comfortable with all dog breeds and sizes! I have made a routine out of caring for friends and family's dogs and cats when they are unavailable to do so, and am familiar with caring for geriatric pets, administering medication when needed, etc. I am available at almost any time Sat, Sun, and Monday. Tues-Fri, I am limited to early mornings (4-6am) and evenings (5:40-9p). The comfort and safety of your pet is of utmost priority to me. I am a career oriented individual, working in the Corrections field. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work. I spend all day working with people in difficult circumstances, and look forward to all the time I can get with creatures of the 4 legged variety!
