Pet care experience
I just recently lost my dog of almost 16 years in June 2023, so I am an experienced pet owner. I had my dog from 8 weeks old into his senior years. I have experience with cleaning up after and being patient with pups in training, I’m comfortable with giving medications and treatments, and I don’t mind following any rules or routines you’ve established with your dog. I also have my own pet stroller for small and senior dogs.

I am very active! I live in a walkable neighborhood and love to go on long walks. I live in a dog friendly apartment building and there are two parks nearby! It’s just my husband and I at home, and he loves dogs too!

Please let me know about any special needs, expectations or dietary restrictions. I typically feed once in the morning between 7-9am and again between 4-6pm, with a snack in between. I’m not a fan of giving dog’s table food, but I’m happy to cook/prepare healthy, dog friendly meals. I’m also very communicative, and will be checking in with you 2-3 times daily to send photos and/or updates. Our pets are an extension of our family and I know what it’s like to want to know they’re safe and happy while we’re away.
A typical day
I walk daily in my neighborhood about 1.5-3 miles. There are two parks nearby and one of them has a dog park for small and larger dogs. I also frequent the Atlanta Beltline and go for nature hikes. They’ll have plenty of attention, bathroom breaks, playtime, adventure, hugs and cuddles.

Availability
My husband and I are creative entrepreneurs, we work from home and have flexible schedules. However, I am a routined person and usually stick to a set schedule each week to maintain some normalcy. I like to take breaks every few hours so this works perfectly to care for a pet.
