Pet care experience
My entire life I've cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, horses, poultry, etc. Aside from my own pets, including dogs, cats, chickens, and a snake, I've had professional farm experience for 4+ years. Many animal lovers have relied on me to provide the best care I can give, and I love caring for animals of all kinds. I'm a quick study, and will adopt owners' routines into how I care for animals.

I highly recommend Meara to take care of your loved fur baby - whether that be a at home drop in, walk or stay at your home. She has been absolutely amazing with my 7 year old French Bulldog who has Invertebrate Disc Disease ( IVDD). There are only a few select people that I trust watching Tobi and Meara is one of them! She eases all of my concerns about going on vacation while leaving behind a medically complex dog with separation anxiety. Meara has been extremely responsible and respectful while staying at my home for extended time to dog sit while I travel. I can say with full confidence that your fur baby will be in the best of hands with Meara!
Meara is an extremely responsible pet sitter. I feel a sense of confidence (and relief!) knowing that she can take care of any type of animal! We have chickens and 3 cats, and she knows how to take care of both well when we're gone. And when we used to have dogs, she was also our go-to for dog walks and regular care. It's a difficult thing to trust someone not only to take care of your fur babies, but also to come into your home (or stay there) while you're away--Meara engenders trust, is truly responsible, does what she says she will and does the little extras with your animals (sends pictures!) that makes you feel at peace. I heartily recommend Meara for your pet care needs.

I do my best to make safety my priority, first, last and always. The lives of our fur-babies are extremely valuable, and you can trust me to prioritize the care of your loved ones. I will spend time learning an owner's routine, and stick to it as closely as possible. On walks, I carry plenty of doggy-bags, and avoid interactions/altercations with people/other animals as best I can. I also know plenty of parks and trails and do my best to tire out the pups. On overnight stays I am clean and respectful. I have a few tricks in my arsenal regarding behavioral issues, and am always using positive reinforcement. Overall, I have a lot of love for animals, and will happily be a friend to your pet... and maybe spoil them a bit :)

I would like to know about a dog's behavior, like if they are friendly to new humans, friendly with other animals, etc. It's important to know any triggers, and discuss any reactivity a pet has. For example, if a pet is sensitive on their feet or back, and may snap or bite in response. Many pets may also have some anxiety, like separation anxiety, which is good to be aware of ahead of time.
A typical day
I know many local parks, and can take dogs for super engaging walks. I love seeing what kinds of tricks pets can do, and love giving them entertaining play time.
