*Before reading further, I do not accept same-day bookings (request, meet and greet, booking, & stay all same day) - you just can't predict if dogs will get along and I don't like to potentially leave someone hanging if they might have a dog that doesn't appear to enjoy the company of my pup. I get a lot of these requests to drop off dogs for boarding with hours notice (with drop off being the meet and greet, and will decline this type of last minute request every time unless you are a repeat client. Thank you! I am a graduate student who works flexible hours and has considerable experience caring for my own animals as well as those of others. I have also boarded dogs at my home for years and cared for pets (dogs, cats, fish, horses, sheep, goats etc.) at their homes, checking in multiple times throughout the day. I worked as an intern at a large and small animal hospital in high school and undergrad and am American Red Cross certified in both human and animal CPR and first aid (animal certificate in photos, I am unable to list links within this text). I am also comfortable with caring for a pet who might need a little extra TLC or have special needs. I would love to organize a pack hike once or twice a week for walking clients with dogs who would enjoy the adventure and enrichment of the great outdoors (and who like other dogs of course)! I believe that a tired dog is a happy dog is a good dog, so we do lots of walking. I also have a bike attachment for dogs who like to run long and fast and so can accomodate intense runners/pullers (eg. huskies etc.) Exploring city parks and forested state parks is a hobby of my pup Astro and I, and we'll take your buddy along for adventures while you're away on your own!
