Pet care experience
I am fairly new to SB area, I moved in May 2023 from Texas to work at a ranch. I have dog sat for friends, family and new rover friends over the last 10 years. I have experience caring for larger and smaller breeds, older and younger dogs. I’ve had to administer medication before to an older dog I’ve sat as well as my own dog. I’m a dog mom to a 8 year old English Cream, she’s a big sweetie! We love to go walk at Ellwood Mesa in Goleta and would love for your pup to join us. I work at a guest ranch in Goleta primarily in the last afternoon to evening. So have a lot of time in the mornings to take your pup for a walk! House sitting is the best overnight option for me. This allows your pup to be comfy in their own home and will give you peace of mind knowing your home is cared for.

The best
Meagan is the perfect person to watch your fur babies. She’s treats them like her own, she keeps you updated on what they’re doing and how they’re doing while you’re away. Being in sales I travel a lot and I never worry when I leave my boys with her while I’m away for work!
Meagan is one of the best dog sitters we’ve ever used! We have three Pitt bulls that adore when their Aunt Meg comes over. She goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable leaving you pets in her hands

I am happy to follow all instructions given on handling your dog. Happy to crate, let out, Walk, etc. My request is to leave a note or during our initial meeting letting me know your daily routine with you pup so I can follow that plan as close as possible. I am a very clean and organized person, if staying overnight at your home I will be sure the trash is taken out, start laundry, wipe things down and leave your home better than I found it.

A typical day
I love dog walks, the happiness you see on the animal is so rewarding! Walking, playing ball, playing chase in the back yard are all activities we would enjoy! I always say the walk is for them not us, love to let them smell and enjoy the surroundings.

Availability
I live and work at a guest ranch in Goleta, CA. I typically work 8 hour shifts in the afternoons to evenings. Doing house visits, in home boarding and morning walks are the best fit for my schedule. I have an 8 year old Golden Retriever female who is a sweetheart. For overnight stays are your house, I would request to bring her. She gets along with other dogs very well and I would be happy to do a meet and greet with our animals before hand.
