Pet care experience
As a dog lover (foster mom, volunteer, animal activist and vegan, as well) I will provide your precious pup with tender loving care. Being a dog mom myself, I know the importance of having strong communication and trust in those who are caring for your dog. I'm looking forward to making your pup feel as 'at home' as can be while you are away! I am in the process of being certified in pet CPR/First Aid, as well. My experience with dogs in shelters, dog sitting for friends/neighbors, and being a dog mom for 15 years, in addition to being raised in a family that adored dogs, I have a soft spot for each and every furry, 4-legged pooch. Meagan is like a sanctuary for dogs. For the entire time I have known her, Meagan has had a dog and also volunteered to walk dogs at the local shelter. Her heart is with the canine world, and she is absolutely the first person I would ask to take care of my dog when I am out of town. I cannot speak highly enough of Meagan. She is an amazing and compassionate person who would take excellent care of other’s pets!
Meagan is a dog lover, through and through. She not only provides an extremely nurturing and loving environment for her own dog, but she also extends that love and care to other dogs as well. She has fostered dogs and has been successful at meeting the unique needs of each dog in her care. She is also very organized, proactive and accountable - all things you want when doing business with someone, especially for something as important as caring for your dog(s).

A typical day
Our house is a cozy, loving one where dogs have free reign for the most part (unless crating is needed, of course) and with this also comes routine, structure and good boundaries. I live in a beautiful neighborhood with parks, trails, and just a short distance from a dog park. The finished basement is a dog's paradise with cozy beds, couches, and a basket full of toys. With frequent jaunts outside, plentiful play time with one another and nap time inside, no dog will go uncuddled and cared for.
