Let's be honest dogs make our days better. Just being around them can instantly make us smile. We could go on and on about what dogs do for us but it's just as important to think about what we do for them. Having studied animal behavior I know just how important it is to give dogs a full and enchriched life. For my own pets I focus on enriching their day whether that's taking them on hikes, learning a new trick or having a really good play session. I like to make sure I brighten animals days just as much as they brighten mine. I have worked in animal care for seven plus years; five of which were in a professional setting. I worked at an animal shelter in the medical and behavioral department. I'm a trained medical technician and pet CPR certified. I also assisted in behavior analysis of dogs and cats and rabbits.
