Pet care experience
I grew up with small dogs and they have a special place in my heart. I’m not able to afford a pet of my own at this time, so I would love to share my love with your furry family! It will be an absolute pleasure to make friends with your critters.

McKenzie is always nice and send you pictures all the time which I really appreciate.
McKenzie was very communicative and kept us updated with pictures every day while we were gone. I can tell my fur baby had the best time and barely knew we were away. McKenzie took care of our dog just like we would, there was no shortage of snuggles and love. We will definitely use her again when we go away
McKenzie did a great job taking care of our MinPin Leo for a few weeks during our visit back home. She kept us posted about any concerns and clearly communicated over and forth. We especially appreciated the daily updates and photo’s. Leo seems very relaxed and a happy little dog on pick up day. We can tell he was taken cate of well. She applied all the little extras in regards to ointment and gave me feedback on his skin condition. Thank you again very much so McKenzie- we’ll be happy to leave Leo with you again soon!
Wow McKenzie is wonderful. She responded to our request promptly and she was able to help us out on very short notice! We feel our precious senior dog was so well cared for! Excellent communication all evening and morning that included photos. Highly recommend

Notes about my residence: My home has a size restriction of 25lbs (I don’t want to uncheck medium dogs on my profile and miss out on my 16-25lb friends!). Being an apartment setting, there is hallway traffic (if your pup is stressed by noise).

I appreciate knowing how your pet will tell me that they need to go outside (I also acknowledge that new places can disrupt their normal behaviour, so we’ll take regular breaks if I’m not sure). Tell me their favourite treat and I’ll be sure to have it on hand!
A typical day
Snuggles galore! Nothing beats a cuddly pet. We’ll go for walks on the Promenade, visit other furry friends in Paul Kane Park, and have lots of treats (if Mom and/or Dad say it’s okay)! While I’ll be the primary caretaker of your pet, my boyfriend lives with me and he loves dogs too. The dogs like him better than they like me half the time!

Availability
I work full-time, but only one day per week in the office (and that day is flexible). While home, I have the flexibility to take your furry friends outdoors or for walks. I can sit with them while working, and when I’m off the clock, I will snuggle them so much! I also love when they can sleep in bed with me!
