I've had dogs ever since I was a kid and have dog sat for family and friends many times. I am comfortable around all different types of dogs and they typically take to me very well too.

McKenzie was such a great sitter to our two huskies and did a perfect job watching our house as well. She followed all our instructions and also provided us with plenty of updates and photos. We can tell the dogs had a wonderful time with her - almost as though they were the ones on vacation! Aside from a 5 star dog sitting experience, our home was maintained perfectly while we were gone. I feel confident booking future family trips knowing we have a trusted sitter now!

McKenzie was terrific with our big dog. Great communication and kept us updated on walking him. Will definitely book again.
After a long stay with Skye, we were able to work with McKenzie again the weekend after for a few walks while we were at a festival. She was so amazing, taking Skye out on long walks and feeding her. We’re so happy we found her and can’t wait to work with her again!

My apartment is not currently set up for taking care of dogs in my home, but I am willing to walk dogs and care for them in their owners' homes. I will be respectful of all their property and their privacy and only interact with things that are necessary for me to complete my job. My goal is always to make the pets feel as comfortable as possible with me, even though they may be missing you.

You’re the best source of knowledge of your pets, so I trust you know the most important things to tell me. But I generally make sure to ask about how your pets do with others, any specific toys or activities they love, and if there are any areas off limits in your house.
A typical day
I love to play fetch and tug-of-war with the doggos and make sure to give all pets lots of love and scratches and belly rubs. Whenever possible, I like to stick to the daily things you do with them to keep them comfortable.

Availability
I am a professor at USAFA so I am generally not available during the day, but would be available late afternoon/night. During weekends I have a variable, but generally flexible schedule.
