Pet care experience
I have grown up with small dogs in my home since I was very young! The past 3 years we had the opportunity of living with my parents and their 2 little Yorkies. They became our pets as well, and leaving them has been hard on both me and my kids! While I would love to have a pet of my own, having 2 young kids and traveling often unfortunately does not allow for it at this time. I'm excited to have the opportunity to care for pets in my home through Rover. My kids also adore animals and together we can provide full attention and love to your furry friend during their stay here.

As always, McKenzie and her family treated our pup wonderfully and she came home happy and healthy!
My dog was glad to see me when I picked him up, but not as over the top ecstatic as I expected him to be! That said to me that he was treated well and made comfortable by McKenzie & her family, especially since this was his very first stay away from home AND me for more than a few hours.
My dog was so happy when we dropped him off at McKenzie’s house. So I know he’s having a good time playing and being spoiled.
McKenzie was great! She was very kind, accommodating, and attentive to all our concerns with caring for our dog Eggsy. She always made sure to keep us updated and sent us lots of cute photos too! I would highly recommend her!

We do not have a fence, but do have a huge yard! I am happy to take your pet out to run around, supervised of course to ensure they stay safe. Pets are welcome in all rooms of my home and on my couch as well! I am happy to take pets on walks and to play with them to make their stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.

I do request that all dogs i take in are up to date on their vaccinations and are good with little kids as they will be around them in my home. Let me know if there are any special needs or accommodations your dog will require and I will do my best to oblige and give your dog the care they need and deserve!
A typical day
I will make sure your dog gets played with and loved on throughout the day! I have a huge yard I can take them to run around and explore. We can play fetch and go on long walks around my neighborhood to make sure they get their exercise!

I’m currently a full time homemaker, so my full time job would be caring for your pet and my 2 young kiddos! Your pet will get a ton of attention and love the entire time they are here. My children are both very gentle and kind to animals, so I can assure you your pet will be well taken care of here. Drop off and pickup hours are between 7 am and 7 pm. If you need to pick up earlier or later, I am flexible and would be happy to arrange that. Because I do have kids to plan my daily schedule around, I would prefer 24 hours notice before booking to ensure I can arrange my day to give your pet the best experience possible!
