Hello, my name is McKenzie I’ve been taking care of a variety of animals since I was at a young age for friends and family. I personally have two large dogs, five reptiles, two rodents, and two fish. I know how to handle and care for elderly animals as well as animals in need for special prescriptions. I’d love to be of help for your fur family!

McKenzie was awesome! This was our first time with McKenzie and our first trip after having adopted 2 new rescues a few months ago. We wanted to keep "the boys" at home in a familiar environment because they're still settling in. McKenzie stayed at our home and visited prior to our trip so we'd all meet and be comfortable. She immediately made us feel comfortable in her abilities and proved we were right in our decision when our little "Houdini" found a loophole in the fence. McKenzie remained calm and was immediately able to get Snoop back home without issue and let us know right away. She's amazing, unflappable and "the boys" love her! Thank you McKenzie! We can now travel worry free!

While in your home and your pets usual environment, I will do as you specify, which include walking needs, possible crate housing (if that is your choice,) feeding times, bathing routine, etc. I believe animals thrive on structure, and schedules, I will treat your babies just as I treat my own, with love and respect.

Please let me know if your dog has any allergies, extra needs, fears, enjoyments, and things that may unnecessarily provoke them. I have the most familiarity with larger dogs and cats, but I have no issues with smaller dogs.
A typical day
I know a few dog friendly parks and there’s also a nice trail near by my house that’s multiple miles long. We can go on walks, jog, play fetch, tug of war, or whatever your dog loves best! Then after all that activity we can come back to their home snuggle up (if they like that) and relax for a bit before we do something new.

Availability
I am currently working a scattered part time job which I can work around, I prefer to leave my weekends open for personal reasons. I can stay overnight as well as stop by day to day when needed depending on your animals needs.
