My family had McKenzie watch our dog Hans while we were on vacation. We chose her to watch our dog because Hans is a very nervous and shy dog so we don’t trust him to be in dog daycare or boarding. Those places make him very anxious so we wanted to make sure he was comfortable and calm while we were away. Whenever McKenzie comes over, she plays with Hans and always makes sure he is feeling calm and comfortable with her actions. He used to feel stressed whenever people would try to pet him or come around our family but with time he has gotten used to people close to our family, including McKenzie. Because of this, we asked her to watch Hans because we were sure he would be well taken care of and not anxious since McKenzie helps calm him down. She sent us daily updates and pictures and made sure he had food and water, went outside often, was walked, and had lots of playtime. She and Hans had a great time and we would ask her to watch Hans again in the future. We definitely recommend her to watch your pets, even if they are anxious with new people!
