Hello! My name is McKenna, and I'm an 22 year old gal who has always had a passion for loving and working with animals. I have seven years of pet sitting experience, as I've been pet sitting since I was fifteen years old, and haven't stopped since. I love animals of any size or personality or quirk - they're all worthy of love and attention in my eyes! I can drop in or stay at your house depending on what you prefer, and I'm all about doing what is most comfortable for your fur baby! I have a soft spot in my heart for big dogs because my grandparents had great danes while I was growing up, but I absolutely adore dogs (or cats) of any size and look forward to meeting yours! I also have worked as a Veterinarian Assistant in the past, so I am comfortable administering medications and such.

McKenna was absolutely great with my pups. One is four and one is 15. She sent lots of pics so I never had to worry about them and I would definitely use her again the next time I have to go somewhere and she's available
McKenna is amazing! My dogs loved her - she was very considerate of our house and went an extra mile to make sure everything was just as my babies needed and wanted. My pups adored her and loved being with her. They are more relaxed after our return than I have ever seen them.

I have been staying at people's houses to pet sit since I was fifteen, and have gotten used to existing respectfully in someone else's space. I never invite people over to the house I'm pet sitting at, and I always try and make it as clean as it was when you left before I leave. I also send pictures at least once a day to ensure that the owners see their pet is doing well and being properly cared for!

I always want to know if there are any medical issues I should be aware of before sitting for a pet, as well as any special quirks or preferences they may have.
A typical day
I enjoy relaxing and watching tv with furry pets, playing with them and their toys, and giving them all the love, attention, and pets I can!

Availability
I am currently a full time graduate student at East Tennessee State University, and a Graduate Assistant on campus as well to fund my education, but only during the months of August through May. Because of this, I am hoping to work full time this summer, which means I will only be available for drop ins or house sitting with a dog that can go 8 hours between potty breaks, as that is how long I expect my shifts to be. If you are still interested in having me as a pet sitter with these limitations, please feel free to check with me and we will see if we can make it work :)
