Pet care experience
Pets are my passion! I have been caring for pets for the past 10+ years, and have experience with both young, old, and special needs animals. I am energetic and can match your pets playful spirit or can relax on the couch while your pet snuggles up for some cuddles. My speciality is in feline care; I have two cats of my own and love our feline friends. I also specialize in large dog breeds and have a German Shepherd of my own. I can administer any medications that your furry friend may need; I have multiple reoccurring clients whose feline friends need oral and/or injection-based medications. I understand that some felines and dogs are not comfortable with a stranger in their territory, I am respectful to this and understand the patience and space required to provide care to these specific traits. If your dog is a leash-puller, super sniffer on walks - no problem at all! I have experience with all sorts of walkers (yes, even those who love to potty every 2 mins) kind of dogs so don’t worry if your pupper needs extra attention on walks. I also have experience in exotic reptile care. I have a 90 year old tortoise and have provided care to snakes, lizards, frogs, and birds. All I can say is WOW! McKenna was awesome! She went above and beyond taking care of my pup! His energy is off the charts most of the time, but she handled his craziness without skipping a beat! My first time using Rover.com, and first time having McKenna dog sit. I was a bit nervous to say the least, but they say asking someone to watch your Pet is the biggest compliment you could ever give them. After all, they're watching your kid. I hope she reads this, and can see how much her watching Cody was appreciated. She can now consider me a repeat client forever! I would totally recommend her to anyone.

A typical day
Guaranteed cuddles + play time! Walks, runs, social hour at the dog park can all be included in the fun. Cats too - wands, laser pointers, or just laptime loafing are all on the agenda. Drop-In visits include one 60 minutes or less visit for feeding, water bowl refill, litter box cleaning, medication administration (if needed) and social interaction. I am available for drop-ins between the morning hours of 6am-9am and the evening hours between 4pm-7pm; specific times may be flexible depending on your need.
