Pet care experience
While I have owned dogs my whole life and started pet sitting in my neighborhood through middle school and high school, I continued pursuing my love for animals by attending the University of Rhode Island and getting my Bachelors in Animal Science and Technology on a Pre-Vet track. Since my graduation in 2020, I have gained 2+ years of experience in the veterinary field as a veterinary technician. I have experience with administering medications, handling anxious/reactive pets, etc. Although I am no longer in the veterinary field, my love for animals has not waived and I hope to continue having animals be a part of my life!

Mckenna did an amazing job with Cosmo. She was attentive to all of his elderly dog needs and took great care of our house.
Mckenna was excellent. She agreed to house sit for us and take care of our dog and cat with short notice. She was professional, sent photos and left the house spotless. It seemed like our pets loved her! 5 stars.
McKenna was absolutely wonderful watching our dog for a week. Plenty of photos and updates and she did a great job when our pups allergies started acting up. Would definitely recommend!!
We were in a bind for our last minute trip but are so glad we found McKenna available. She was extremely prompt, paid attention to details and care instructions and communicated well. We were at ease having her stay at our house and knew our dogs were in good hands. We highly recommend her and look forward to using her again.

I would like to know how they get along with other dogs/other people (i.e. do they get nervous, do they love to play with people and/or dogs, etc.) so I do not put your dog in any uncomfortable situation. I would also like to know what their favorite game/activity/toy is.
A typical day
As a local Rhode Islander, I know of many fun trails I love taking my dogs on. If we aren’t going on walks or playing outside, we’re snuggled up watching TV!

Currently, I am a full time student at URI and work part-time as a direct care provider. Both my class schedule and work schedule can be flexible to fit most furry friend schedules!
