Pet care experience
I’m currently a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design, pursuing illustration for a career in creating children’s books for all age groups. As for other work experience regarding supervision or care, i’ve held a position as a sales associate/yard attendant for day care dogs. This included cleaning up the space, staying alert for any rough play, abiding by feeding and play times, and providing aid when needed for up 50 dogs of various ages/sizes/personalities. i also have extended experience in childcare when working as a summer camp counselor at Lincoln Charter School, i conducted activities for children ages 4-12 with other counselors, supervised, provided aid, and organized field trip outings for groups of up to 160 campers. I feel confident in my abilities to check up on anything your pet may need as well as provide walks and play time so you can have peace of mind while you’re away!

Mckenna has taken care of my dog and cat while on vacation, and I came back with no issues. She is nice and knows how to work around animals well, and she’s worked at a dog daycare too.
If I needed someone to watch over my two dogs while I was away, I'd go to Mckenna first...in fact I have had her watch my dogs plenty of times while I was away and it made me feel much better about being away from my fur babies. She has a true love for all animals, and will not only do the basics, like feed your dog, make sure they have water, and take them out to potty, but she will love on and play with them to make sure they're happy while you're away. If this wasn't enough, she even has professional experience from a doggy day care! I have lots of anxiety and worry about leaving my dogs for any amount of time, but having Mckenna take care of them wipes my worries away. I would absolutely, 100% recommend Mckenna to be your dog sitter. Your dogs would be in wonderful hands!

if your dog needs any medication be sure to give thorough instructions for the best way to get the job done. i don’t not feel comfortable administering medicine through injection. if your dog exceeds 60 lbs and tends to pull very hard on a leash, or is really hard to control on walks, i physically do not feel comfortable as i am 5ft tall and not very strong. However, if you have a fenced yard or an alternative way to get them their exercise, i can take them out and play if you need!
A typical day
I’m open to playing fetch, going on walks, taking your pet to a park, belly scratches, or anything they may need during the day to make them social, energized, and happy!
