Safety, trust & environment
We always go to a park or around the neighborhood for walks and playtime. I care for pets in my clients’ homes by sticking to their normal routine and following all instructions for walks, feeding, and meds. I make sure they have fresh water, a clean area, lots of attention, and I send updates and photos. I also treat my clients’ homes with respect and always lock up and tidy before I leave.
Information Mckayla R. would like to know about your pet
Before I meet your pet, it’s helpful to know any medical needs, reactivity (to dogs/people), or strict routines you want me to stick to. If there’s anything that makes them nervous or anything that really helps them feel safe, let me know so I can make it a good experience for them.
A typical day
Playing fetch is definitely a favorite! I love doing tug of war or ball, and I’m always down to hear what your dog prefers so I can match their energy. As long as you’ve got a leash and/or harness ready, we can go for walks, little hikes, or explore the neighborhood together.

Pet care experience
I have three dogs of my own, two Aussie mixes and one Yorkie mix, so I’m very used to lots of energy and personality. I used to train my oldest dog in agility and loved it, and I’ve been the go‑to dog sitter for my aunt’s friends, family and neighbors. I also worked at a doggy daycare and absolutely adored all the pups there. Dogs are honestly my safe place; I feel happiest and most myself when I’m around them. I love taking them on hikes, neighborhood walks, lake days, and playing fetch, and I always make sure they get plenty of outside time and attention. I treat every dog like my own and want you to feel totally comfortable trusting me with your best friend. I’ve taken care of all kinds of pups, from tiny puppies and seniors to a sweet three‑legged dog, so I’m used to different needs and energy levels.

Reviews
McKayla has always been a lover of animals ever since she was young. She cares deeply for them. She volunteered at the Humane Society starting at age 13 walking dogs and feeding them. She would always find time at the end of each walk to straighten up the cage, fluff up the bed and say good by to each dog. There were so many dogs McKayla would have brought home if we only had the space!!!! Often times she would visit with the cats when time allowed. If you hire her, you will find her become a caring care taker for your pet.
McKayla takes excellent care of my doggies! She is warm and welcoming when she sees them. She gives them so much love an attention. I know my doggies are in safe hands with McKayla. I Highly recommend her!
